FOX (thinking, as they flick a walnut): I think I'm pretty much there.

The fox's walnut lands perfectly atop a pile of other walnuts.

We see there is no one around for miles. FOX (thinking): I just need to get the word out more.

ROONIE: They're in a FLOW STATE. Their every movement is in step with the one before. Time has slowed for them. They are nearing... perfection.

PITTMAN: HA! Done!

FLYNN: Macaroni art?

ROONIE: Flow states can be for dumb stuff too, y'know.
PITTMAN: Quick!! I need more farfalle!

Disputing

PITTMAN: I'm the BEST at doing this.

FLYNN: Yes, fine. No one is disputing that.

PITTMAN: (sigh) I know...

PITTMAN: I wish they WOULD...

Party

SQUIRREL (thinking): I want to find an easy and polite way to let people know this holiday party is over.

SQUIRREL (thinking): LEAVE! NOW! I DON'T WANT YOU HERE! LEEEEEEEEEAVE!!!

SQUIRREL (thinking, as everyone exits their house): PERFECT! Easier than I thought...

SQUIRREL (thinking): It occurs to me... I maybe didn't quite hit the "polite" angle. But... wasn't married to that anyway...

Life’s Too Short

FLYNN: Life's too short to argue.

PITTMAN: OK... how short are we talking?

PITTMAN: Like, this afternoon?

PITTMAN: Because then I still have time to make a few key points!

Settle an Argument

PITTMAN: Can you settle an argument?
FLYNN: Sure. You're wrong.

PITTMAN: OK, but let me just-
FLYNN: No. You're wrong.

PITTMAN: You haven't even heard what the argument was ABOUT!
FLYNN: Look...

FLYNN: You asked me to settle it. You didn't ask me to settle it FAIRLY.

Dinner

ROONIE: Wanna have dinner together?
PITTMAN: To see who can eat more?

ROONIE: No... to just... have dinner.
PITTMAN: -and we'll see who eats FASTEST?

ROONIE: No! (sigh) Never mind...
PITTMAN: Ooo, how 'bout I cook? I can cook the BEST!

PITTMAN: I bet I get invited to more dinners than ANYONE...

They’ll Never Know

HOT CHOCOLATE: (sigh)

HOT CHOCOLATE: They'll never know how much I love them.

HOT CHOCOLATE: And that's because I will quite literally NEVER tell them.

I Won

PITTMAN: I won! Beat you AGAIN!

FLYNN: We were not RACING. Not everything is a COMPETITION.

A pause.

FLYNN: He'll never win with an attitude like that.

If At First, You Don’t Succeed

FOX (thinking): If at first you don't succeed...

A pause as the fox stares at their violin.

FOX (thinking): Quit and tell no one.

Happy Now?

FLYNN: Fine. You WIN. Happy now?

PITTMAN: Oh, YES! Yes, yes… Incredibly so.

PITTMAN: Wait wait, should I not be?
