We see the fox and rabbit are in a boat. FOX (yelling): THAT'S NOT TRUE! I JUST HAVE BETTER IDEAS! RABBIT: OK! Fine!

We see the fabric they cut was the boat's sail, and that they're in the middle of a large body of water. The fox has made a hand puppet from the fabric.

RABBIT: Hey, doesn't the boat sort of NEED a sail? FOX (yelling): SHUT UP AND FINISH YOUR PUPPET!!

The fire has spread to the entire tree the squirrel is sitting on, and the rabbit who sat next to them plummets to the ground. SQUIRREL (thinking): ...will ever know.
