TREE (thinking): I'LL NEVER FIND LOVE AGAIN!! WAAH!!

TREE (thinking): Oh no, no... (sniff) You don't have to- I'll pick all this up. God, I don't mean to be a BURDEN...

September 26, 2022

SQUIRREL (thinking): I love early fall... The trees look unsure. Like a bride picking a dress. Frozen by choices.

TREE: No, NO! I'm not unsure, I'm SURE, I'm... I'm SURE. I definitely want red leaves! Wait, no! Orange! No, yellow! Is it too late to say green?

FWUMP! The tree loses all its leaves at once.

TREE: OK, OK... I don't... HATE it. MAMA TREE: Oh MIJA, you look PERFECT! AUNTIE TREES: Mi sobrina linda!!!
